Four theme parks, so many resorts, and a whole lot of decisions! Here’s where I’m sharing park highlights, places to stay, and practical tips to help you build a Disney vacation that fits your family, your interests, and your budget.
For that classic “we’re really at Disney!” feeling, Magic Kingdom brings together Cinderella Castle, beloved characters, and attractions that generations have enjoyed together. And don’t let the fairy tales fool you—this park is for much more than little kids! Older kids, teens, and adults can chase thrills on TRON Lightcycle / Run, a high-speed adventure aboard a futuristic Lightcycle, or enjoy favorites like Space Mountain, Haunted Mansion, and Pirates of the Caribbean. Between adventures, explore the charm of Main Street, U.S.A., grab a favorite snack, and take in those castle views. Whether you’re visiting with children, friends, or on your own, there’s no age limit on enjoying a little Disney magic!
EPCOT blends discovery, imagination, and flavors from around the world, with experiences for families, couples, and solo travelers alike. Thrill seekers can blast into Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, an indoor coaster that pairs a space adventure with music and rotating ride vehicles. Balance the excitement with a journey through World Showcase, where each country offers its own architecture, shops, and dining experiences. Younger visitors can find familiar favorites with Frozen and Remy, while older kids and adults can enjoy the mix of attractions, food, and exploration. Leave room in both your schedule and your snack budget—this is a park that rewards taking your time!
Disney’s Hollywood Studios puts you inside the worlds of favorite movies and stories, with immersive lands, live entertainment, and plenty of thrills. In Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, join an epic adventure on Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance or take a role in the cockpit on Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run. Even walking through the land feels like part of the experience, with details that make it worth exploring between rides. Beyond the galaxy, discover the playful world of Toy Story Land or brave The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror. It’s an especially fun choice for families with older kids and teens, movie lovers, and anyone who wants to step into the action.
Animal Kingdom is my personal favorite, combining incredible wildlife, lush trails, beautifully detailed lands, and unforgettable adventures. In Pandora – The World of Avatar, soar over breathtaking landscapes on Avatar Flight of Passage, a simulated flight on the back of a banshee, or take a gentle boat journey through a glowing rainforest on Na’vi River Journey. Beyond Pandora, look for animals on Kilimanjaro Safaris, explore the walking trails, and find mountain-sized thrills on Expedition Everest. There’s something here for little explorers, older kids, and adults alike. Give yourself time to wander—between the animals, scenery, and immersive details, this park offers so much more than a list of rides to check off.
